On returning to England my wife and I exposed the matter through the Press, hy meetings, questions in the House, and by every other means possible, until the
definite ledge of abolition was given by r. Churchill in
March 1222.
e were not at that time in this constituency, but are now on this te ister. I shall be very rateful if you could ive early consideration to the state of affairs. as
disclosed in the leaflet, and I hope we may shortly receive from you some indication of your attitude towards it. and any action you may propose to take.
I may say that I received information from Hong Kong which is in entire accordance with the facts set out
in this leaflet
